Sky Whirlpool Suites

In addition to the 24 infinity pool sanctuaries, there are 5 Sky whirlpool suites.  The Sky suites are located in the lower hillside level. The Sky suites are very spacious suites of about 1650 square feet, with the 4th wall open, yet completely private, to maximize the amazing view experience of the Pitons and the ocean. Sky suites feature a two level room lay out, with large and comfortable living space and open bath design. While the Sky suites do not have a private infinity pool, each suite features a large couples whirlpool tub with views of the Caribbean Sea and Pitons mountains.

There is one Sky whirlpool suite which is air-conditioned and which can be reserved on request.

BEDDING AND IN ROOM FACILITIES

All  sky suites have king size beds. In room facilities include complimentary WiFi, fridge, tea/coffee maker, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Molton Brown bath amenities. Frette Towels and Bathrobes.  There are no television, radio or telephone in the sky suites in keeping with the overall resort experience. In addition to locally made fine tropical wood furniture an eclectic collection of furniture has been placed in the sanctuaries giving each one of them their own individualistic ambiance. The living areas of the rooms are finished with more than 20 different species of tropical hardwood flooring and trims harvested in an environmentally correct way. A multitude of hardwoods has been used including Purpleheart, Greenheart, Locust, Kabukali, Snakewood, Bloodwood, Etikburabali, Futukbali, Taurino, Mora and Cabbage Wood.

THE BATHROOMS

The bathrooms have tropical hardwood vanities with fine brushed stainless steel or nickel plated European fixtures. They feature smooth, cool, coral tile floors and shimmering handmade glass tile shower walls and high tech stainless steel shower units with powerful massage jets and gentle rainfall shower heads, polished mirrors, custom light fixtures, porcelain wash bowls, adjustable makeup mirrors and hair dryers. Each bathroom has a large whirlpool tub for two on a raised dais overlooking your room, pool and the view. The whirlpools are all equipped with strategically placed point-massage jets that can each be controlled by guests as they wish. Each tub is also equipped with the very latest in ‘chroma-therapy’ – based on the theory that colors affect biorhythms and life equilibrium.

Star Infinity Pool Sanctuary

All of the infinity pool sanctuaries at Jade Mountain have been individually designed. The various categories reflect  on the square footage of the sanctuaries and size of pool.

The Star infinity pool sanctuaries measure between 1400- 1800 square feet and each star sanctuary has an infinity pool averaging 450 square feet.

 All pools feature shallow water lounging areas in addition to a large swimming area. They are illuminate at night with fiber optic lights the color of which guests can personally control. All of the pools have been surfaced entirely in one-of-a-kind glass tiles, which have been specifically designed for us. The glass tiles feature a sophisticated, textured iridescent surface on one side and a smooth but undulating surface on the other. The pools are lined with the iridescent side facing out, while the bathroom in each sanctuary has the tiles mounted with the smooth, undulating surface facing out. Each of the infinity pools has its own individually designed glass tile color scheme which is then carried onto the individual bathrooms, giving each sanctuary its own unique – and rather bold – personality. The glass tile texture is complex in reflective and prismatic ways with each piece of tile unique due to their custom hand crafted fabrication.

Moon Infinity Pool Sanctuary

The Moon infinity pool sanctuaries measure between 1600-1950 square feet in size and each moon infinity pool sanctuary has an infinity pool averaging 650 square feet.

Guests can also take part in the coral farm, planting coral to be help grow the coral reef with one of our on-site Microbiologists.

Guests can enjoy a vast array of activities from exploring the rain forest to cooking classes at the property's own Emerald Farm, or enjoy mountain biking and hiking the property's 12 miles of trails, even pickleball is available onsite or simply relaxing with a cocktail beachside.

Helicopter Pad

Guests have choices for their arrival from the airport, including a 6-minute transfer via a helicopter, that lands right on property. Guests are met upon arrival in air-conditioned vehicle and whisks away to their room for a private check-in

Horticulture Tour

The resort enjoy's its own farm that supplies most of the ingredients for our restaurants. The farm also features over 2000 cocoa trees that are harvested for our chocolate lab where guests can create their own chocolate or indulge in a chocolate laced spa treatment. Cooking classes are available at Emerald Farm along with beer tasting, featuring the resorts own organic beer made at the farm's microbrewery.

Sand Beach

Jade Mountain, along with sister resort Anse Chastanet, features two sand beaches connected by a path. Guests can start their day at Anse Chastanet Beach, then head to Anse Mamin Beach by car, on foot, or by boat.

Scuba Diving

The resort's location is ideal for scuba diving, as it is on the coral reef, allowing guests to do shore diving; plus, the resort is a short boat ride from several shipwrecks and underwater volcanic peaks. The resort also maintains a coral farm where guests can plant their own coral to regenerate the nearby coral reef.

Emerald

ANSE CHASTANET menus always include vegetarian options and our culinary team is also happy to meet any other dietary requirements. In addition, we serve our Emerald's dinner menu which is entirely vegetarian, showcasing the organic produce grown on our resort farm Emerald Estate in the Soufriere hills. We only use certified organic seeds. Menu selections offer new tastes and combinations: Appetizers such as Goat's Cheese Fondant, Balsamic Caramel, Apple Curry and Crispy Rain Forest Calabza Gnocchi; Entrees such as Tofu, Smoked Paprika, Sour Cream, Cilantro, Cumin and Sweet Potato and Plantain Satay. Dinner is served daily with the exception of Tuesdays.

ANSE CHASTANET is very actively involved with the island's local farmers to assist them in understanding which produce is essential to our culinary style. Together with ANSE CHASTANET'S horticultural team, we have recently been further expanding ANSE CHASTANET'S own gardens, cultivating fresh herbs and fresh fruits which are grown amidst the historical ruins of the Anse Mamin plantation, part of ANSE CHASTANET'S 600 acre estate. Fruits grown on the estate include bananas, passion fruit, tamarind, mangoes, avocados, oranges, tangerines, guavas, papayas, coconuts to name just a few.

Wrapped around an infinity pool with a dazzling kaleidoscope of colors, the Jade Mountain Club caters exclusively to resident guests, celebrating James Beard Award winner Chef Allen Susser’s “Jade Cuisine.” Hovering in space above the Jade Mountain Club is the Celestial Terrace, perfect for sunset cocktails or star-gazing. Jungle Grill

The Jungle Beach Bar & Grill, located on our second beach of Anse Mamin, is open from 10 am to 4:00 pm except Saturday with lunch served from noon to 3 pm. The relaxed and laid back atmosphere on this exotic soft sand beach makes the Jungle Grill a favourite with many of our resort guests.
