The Spa at Ka’ana is an intimate escape from the stresses of the outside world. It is our mission to deliver spa experiences that are both unique and memorable, and very much beyond expectations. The signature ingredients infused in all our spa treatments are carefully selected from our organic garden as well as the surrounding regions. The earth’s natural minerals and botanicals help the skin’s impurities, improve natural appearance, and restore well-being. Enjoy a full range of massage and body therapies with all facial masks and body treatments freshly hand prepared by our spa technician. Signature ingredients include cocoa, coffee and brown sugar, all native to the country and help make up the rich tapestry of Belize’s culture and natural offerings creating the perfect spa experience that lasts long after you depart.
With spacious indoor seating and inviting outdoor terraces, the Frieze Lounge offers both a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere. Arguably one of the best mixologists in Belize, “Polo” Arguelles presents a unique blend of local offerings, refreshing versions of classic favorites and signature cocktails paired with "Pedasitos" - a small taste of authentic Belizean and Central American cuisine.
The Ka’ana Organic Garden, located on the grounds of the resort, is a labour of love. Don Oscar, our local gardener guarantees that the culinary team uses only the freshest vegetables and herbs. Don Oscar knows when each ingredient is just ripe and ready to be picked - then he hand delivers it to Chef Kuylen and his culinary team. Also, ask our reservations team about booking a Culinary Class while here. Chef Kuylen will personally take you on a tour of the garden, the grounds, and local farmer's market as well as assist you in procuring the fruits and vegetables and herbs he will use in preparing your meal for the evening. You will have a new appreciation for fresh ingredients.
Often the best results from any meeting are closely attached to the location, comfort of the delegates during the meeting, a peaceful slumber at night and the level of service afforded delegates through out their stay. We tick all the above boxes ensuring that any meeting or event is well planned, well serviced and the only end result to be expected is a successful one! Our small but well set out meeting room allows for 14 boardroom style or 20 theatre style and we have modern AV equipment for hire. We offer 24 hour all inclusive residential rates as well as meeting room "day-use" rates. We look forward to making your Belize conference or meeting, your success, our reward.
What is a private dining experience? It is a custom dining experience. Our team of service professionals set your table in a unique location around the property where yours will be the only table in that location for the evening. Choices of locations vary depending on the weather but currently include: Upper Deck Poolside, Lower Deck Poolside, Stargazing terrace, Wine cellar* You can consult with Chef Kuylen to design your menu for the evening or simply allow it to be a culinary surprise. The dinner is four-course and your private dining room will be adorned with candles or torches as well as a private local musician. Private fantasy dining carries a small additional cost and we strongly recommend advance reservations
The La Ceiba Restaurant offers elegant indoor and relaxed outdoor seating. Executive chef, Sean Kuylen focuses on taking local cuisine and adding a modern flair to create unique, sumptuous dishes reflective of the multiple regions of Belize and that are able to please the most discerning palates. Fresh ingredients from the resort’s organic garden and an extensive wine selection from the private cellar accentuate the distinct flavours and pair well with every dish
Ka’ana boasts the largest wine cellar in Western Belize. We are constantly on the lookout for unusual and fine wines and the cellar selection never stands still for long. Supply lines to Belize are somewhat challenging and we are careful to use shippers and handlers who we know are storing and handling bottles with “baby like” care. To ensure guests are exposed to the cellar, our management team welcome all new guests on their first night of arrival with a “Craboo” tasting. Craboo is a quality Belizean liqueur and whilst Belize does not make world-class wines it does make other highly palatable and memorable beverage products
